Building Las Cruces DACC

Doña Ana Community
College’s Workforce Development Center, 2345 E. Nevada Ave.,
will receive several renovations by the start of the spring
semester. An additional 6,000 square feet added to the
building will house DACC’s Bridge program, which is the
dual-credit high school enrollment program. The addition and
newly renovated space will also be used to include space for
construction trades and manufacturing technology programs.
The existing 26,000 square feet, which houses the
Continuing Education Division, customized training, small
business development and the truck driving academy, also
will be renovated. Funding for the project has come from the
career technical center funds as well as state and local
funds. The total cost for the project is almost $4 million,
said Andy Burke, DACC campus financial officer.
